The Hunt is On!

Scavenger Hunts!

This can be a great idea for either outdoor play,, or when your kids are stuck inside on a rainy day. Here are a few different ones, it's so fun your child won't even realize they are practicing skills.

Colors/Vocabulary/Sense: this can be used to teach your little one to identify colors, or you can focus in on the description words and have your child work on vocabulary and descriptive writing. Or maybe you can use this one to help them better understand how we use our senses

Reading/Phonics: this will have your child thinking about how everything is spelled, while they try and find the items on the list.

Numbers: this will help your child recognize the written form of the numbers 1-10. If you are working with a smaller child who still doesn't recognize their numbers, then just switch the words for numbers.

Colors/Vocabulary/Senses (I did blue to go with our blue day lesson plan, but you can easily edit this to do a different color or multiple colors like we did in the picture above)
